For my card I began with a brown cardstock base which I cut down slightly smaller than 5×7. I then cut a pink and white striped patterned paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Love Always collection lightly smaller. I cut out two long rectangles along the white portions and added a layer of acetate so that I could create a shaker card. I then added foam adhesive to the back of the whole card. I added some mint colored trim to the bottom rectangle and I filled the top one with the lovely Mocha Mint Dream Sequin Mix.
I then placed a piece of American crafts white textured yardstick behind the rectangles to close them off. Between the layers I added a piece of a White Lace paper doily peeking out form both sides. For my sentiment, I pulled out a wood veneer from my stash that says Thankful and I heat embossed it, top half white and bottom half in a copper color. I love how it turned out. Very nice and simple.
Next you’ll be headed to Evi’s Blog. Be sure to hop along! If you loose your way start at the beginning on the Spiegelmom Scraps Blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by! XOXO- Katty
