Exciting News!!!

Hello my friends,

I hope you are all having a wonderful 4th of July weekend. I have some exciting news to share with you all. As of July 1, 2015 I have been chosen as a Fall/Winter Design Team Member for the wonderful Sketch~N~Scrap blog: www.sketchnscrap.blogspot.com.  I will be posting all of the fun sketch challenges here as well so you all can play along. Here is the link for the blog post where the design team was announced: http://www.sketchnscrap.blogspot.com/2015/06/announcing-fallwinter-2015-sketch-n.html

Sketch N Scrap

Here is the July card sketch and my interpretation. This is actually the first card I have ever made and it was a lot of fun to create. I began with light grey recollections cardstock and cut it down to size. I then used my corner chomper to round the four corners. I used my Teresa Collins Spring Fling Stamp set and pulled the flourish stamp to create the circle of swirls with VersaMark embossing ink. I then heat embossed using three different colors. To create the center piece I used a circle punch to punch the circle in the same light gray cardstock. I then used a small hole puncher to punch around the circle. Finally I used the  Studio G wooden stamp and heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment as well as the two gift boxes which are from the Pink Paislee Sentiment Series stamp set. I hope you will all play along every month. If you link up your project to the Sketch N Scrap blog you will be entered to win a fun prize. There is a different fun prize every month. Be sure to check out the other design Team Members for some awesome inspiration as well. Thank you so much for stopping by and following me. 🙂 🙂
